Welder III / Fabricator III - Colorado Springs, CO

Must meet the following requirements:
  • Capable of 6G certification in GMAW/FCAW and/or GTAW processes. SAW is a plus

                  1. Develop material procurement plans based on engineering BOMs and program requirements to support custom equipment.

                    This position is responsible for the implementation of the corporate weld program in direct support of the manufacturing and product development departments by specifying and planning sound weld processes and techniques for the fabrication of complex metal products. This is accomplished by possessing and utilizing knowledge of industry welding codes and standards and the properties and characteristics of metals and welding principles. The implementation of the weld program includes representing the weld program to customers, providing solutions and technical responses in support of the quotation and planning processes, qualification and documentation of welding program and coordination of welding nonconformance analysis activities.

                    • Supports the quotation process by performing a technical review of the scope of work documents to provide input on weld process, weld consumables, weld times, heat treatment and NDE for compliance of welding requirements.

                    • Specifies, manages and schedules NDE, testing laboratory and heat treatment subcontractors.

                      Advanced Technology Group is searching for an experienced Estimator to study customer requirements relating to the commercial and technical aspects of all RFP’s. This qualified individual will be responsible for estimating all labor, material, quality and shipping costs pertaining to an RFP/RFQ that ATG receives and will respond accordingly with a formal proposal that meets technical, commercial, and profitability requirements.

                        • 10 years of work experience, working with multi-axis CNC lathes, CNC mills and machine programming
                        • Working knowledge of Solid Works and Mastercam

                        Join Springs Fabrication, LLC as a Lead Document Control Coordinator to collect, translate, maintain, revise and distribute all documents necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes. This position works to ensure product quality and conformance to customer requirements. As a member of our QA team, your contributions will be highly valued!

                        ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to the following:
                        • Support the vision of the company.
                        • Support Quality Manager in maintaining internal audit schedule & perform auditing activities.
                        • Develop work instructions and procedures from regulatory material/manuals or other supplied documents.
                        • Audit of 5S program implementation.
                        • Track in-process NQA-1 documentation throughout duration of project.
                        • Manage qualification of NQA-1 personnel.
                        • Maintain M&TE Calibration database, ensuring all M&TE is calibrated in established cycles by internal inspectors or by working with external calibration laboratories.
                        • Review Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Manufacturing Change Notices (MCNs) to assess impact on documentation package requirements.
                        • Work with Project Managers & Quality inspectors to determine documentation requirements based on Customer and Purchase Order Specifications.
                        • Ensures customer or code-required deliverables are complete and submitted to project management.
                        • Lead maintenance of QMS documentation and record system:
                        • Annually, lead the review and update of departmental QMS documents to include document matrix
                        • Review and approve all new and updates to QMS documents
                        • Schedule and lead annual refresher training to applicable QMS documentation by department
                        • Other duties as assigned.
                        EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
                        • Associates Degree or equivalent in training and experience.
                        • 2-5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance activities.
                        • Material Certification Data Sheet knowledge and experience are desired but not required.
                        • ISO 9001 documentation and knowledge required.
                        SKILLS and ABILITIES:
                        • Computer literacy to include knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
                        • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing & verbally.
                        • Strong filing and typing skills.
                        • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task while in a fast-paced environment.
                        • Internal auditing skills.
                      • Knowledge of ISO 9001.
