Springs Fabrication is searching for expert welders to support our growing business.
Applicants must be capable of 6G certification in MIG and/or TIG processes. Capable of reading complex Blueprints, including weld symbols. 3 or more years of advanced welding experience. Pipe welding experience up to 20” piping and/or large structural weldments required. Also experience demonstrating X-Ray quality welds and capable of fitting up complex weldments with consideration for tolerance, shrinkage, and heat induced warpage. Robotic welding experience a plus. Experience with various metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotics such as incoloy.
Must be able to work 2nd shift (2:15pm – 12:45 am)
Welders will be required to take the following tests:

Directs, monitors and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties.
·Develop job packages, duties to include: development and data entry of bills of material, material requisitions, drawings, work instructions, shipping instructions, etc.
·Work in conjunction with and expediting the production, purchasing, scheduling, quality control, and engineering departments to facilitate the schedule requirements.
·Research and obtain costs of non-stocked material and sub-contracted operations
·Provide material requisitions to purchasing for job requirements.
·Create, implement and maintain project schedules as required.
·Monitor jobs to include verification and staging of parts, materials and sub-contracted operations.
·Resolve issues to include drawing issues, material issues, and schedule changes.
·Prepare project reports for management, client, or others.
·Preparation and submittal for customer required documentation.
·Represent Springs Fabrication in a professional, courteous manner.
·Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
Solidworks skills a plus and additional compensation considered. Must be detailed oriented with strong computer skills and ability to read manufacturing drawings and blueprints.

Springs Fabrication is looking for a skilled individual who has the ability to generate, read, and interpret drawings. This qualified employee must have the basic fundamental knowledge and skills associated with machining. Must fully understand the process of machining. Prior work history or knowledge of machining and “g-code” is crucial to this position. Must be familiar with “fanuc” base machines. Able to read and understand complex machining blueprints. Able to write simple machining programs on several different controllers. Sets-up and runs complex machining operations on the Haas Lathe, Feeler, G&L, Femco Vertical Mills and Femco HBC. Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions, adjust machine controls and offsets with minimal or no supervision. Periodically inspects parts during run and after completion to ensure parts are accurate. Processes all paperwork according to Standard Operating Procedures. Maintains a clean, organized and safe working area. Monitors job costing to ensure that the machining stays within acceptable limits to the estimate.
