Qualified individual will be familiar and proficient at welding in accordance with ASME Section IX welding procedures using carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials. Must be able to read and understand complex blueprints for layout and weld tack.

- CNC Machinist III
- Springs Fabrication is looking for a skilled individual who has the ability to generate, read, and interpret drawings. This qualified employee must have the basic fundamental knowledge and skills associated with machining. Must fully understand the process of machining. Prior work history or knowledge of machining and “g-code” is crucial to this position. Must be familiar with “fanuc” base machines. • Able to read and understand complex machining blueprints. • Able to write simple machining programs on several different controllers. • Sets-up and runs complex machining operations on the Haas Lathe, Feeler, G&L, Femco Vertical Mills and Femco HBC. • Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions, adjust machine controls and offsets with minimal or no supervision. • Periodically inspects parts during run and after completion to ensure parts are accurate. • Processes all paperwork according to Standard Operating Procedures. • Maintains a clean, organized and safe working area. • Monitors job costing to ensure that the machining stays within acceptable limits to the estimate.

- Springs Fabrication is in search of a Buyer II for our Materials Department. Qualified individual will have the following knowledge and skills:
* Experience with purchasing materials, supplies, equipment and services. Knowledge of metal supplies a plus. * Solicit and analyze bids. * Perform vendor evaluations and audits. * Ability to learn and operate Syspro System * Work in conjunction with production, scheduling, quality and engineering departments to ensure material needs are met * Professional and courteous behavior when dealing with customers, vendors and employees * Ability to write routine reports and correspondence * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume when ordering material

- ProE Designer II
- Springs Fabrication is searching for a qualified ProE Designer II to perform technical computer-aided drafting, provide product development and product support activities while conforming to the companies quality systems as documented. The Design Engineer II is the journeyman level position in the engineering design progression. This position is distinguished from the Design Engineering Supervisor in that the Design Engineer II does not have the responsibility for personnel and project coordination and distinguished from the Design Engineer I in the scope and complexity of the work assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Designs and models various projects and creates the required fabrication details and drawings · Interprets internal and customer codes and calculations · Interfaces with production to maintain current and best fabrication practices · Updates, revises and reproduces drawings · Works with customers as required to ensure the products conform to customer requirements and meet the customers needs. SKILLS and ABILITIES: · Ability to generate, read and interpret drawings. One must be skilled in the basic fundamental knowledge associated with drafting /detailing including third-angle projection, section views, auxiliary views, general dimensioning and notation. Advanced knowledge of fabrication processes; welding and welding symbols; standard tolerances; geometric dimensions/tolerances; threads and fasteners; springs; cams and gears is desired. One must posses strong computer knowledge and be familiar with standard desktop software in addition to PRO/E, AutoCad and other drafting/modeling software. - Material Control Coordinator
- Springs Fabrication has an opening in our Materials Dept. for a Material Coordinator. This individual will ensure all material received has traceability. Essential duties and responsibilities include: · Organize receiving holding areas to allow for control and monitoring of inventory. · Receive parts into stock from outside suppliers and Springs Fabrication production via Syspro · Assign tracking numbers based on chemical and mechanical properties of material · Perform receiving inspection of job-related parts and raw materials · Assist in shipping with documentation and processes related to shipping. · Produce required reports for management on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as required. ·Communicate with all departments as required to resolve discrepancies and maintain efficient flow of materials. · Must be detail oriented while in a fast paced environment / multitasking skills required · Ability to learn and apply Lean concepts.
Qualified candidate will have an Associates Degree and/or a minimum of 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
