Springs Fabrication, Inc. purchases assets of ISO-CON International, LTD, dba McDermott Brothers Products

Colorado Springs, Colorado USA – Springs Fabrication, Inc., a leader in the design and manufacture of engineered metal products, is pleased to announce the October 16, 2014 asset purchase of McDermott Brothers Products, an Allentown, PA based company specializing in custom dampers and rotary equipment including kilns, dryers, and coolers for industrial process applications.  All engineering and manufacturing will be fulfilled in one of Springs Fabrication’s three Colorado manufacturing facilities.

The purchase of McDermott Brothers will expand on Springs Fabrications’ growing business in the rotary equipment industry with the addition of design engineering expertise and installation services.   This includes expertise in providing part replacement, application modifications, and enhancements for existing Stearns-Roger process equipment.   

Springs Fabrication will also be adding new expertise in the design engineering and fabrication of specialized, custom dampers.   Springs Fabrications’ existing expertise in electrical and mechanical design and assembly of custom skidded systems and complex custom fabricated systems lends itself to the variety of actuated control system requirements of this product expansion.   The damper design and manufacturing capabilities will support many of Springs Fabrications’ current customers and industries.
