SUMMARY:

Sets-up and operates CNC and manual machinery in accordance to Safety Practices, Operational Manuals and direct input from his/her Team Lead. Runs simple to complex programs on CNC machines and observes the operation of the equipment to ensure the accuracy of the part to the Customer’s drawing. Manually checks machine function by using measuring devices to ensure work output is within acceptable limits. Brings technical issues to the attention of his/her Team Lead.

  • Ability to do Prototype machining, R&D, and reverse engineering
  • Experience with manual machines, CNC machines, conversational programming and CNC coding

SUMMARY

Responsible to layout and fabricate complex metal products with little or no supervision. Familiar and proficient at welding in accordance with ASME Section IX welding procedures using carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy materials.

  • Able to perform x-ray quality welds on products fabricated of stainless steel, carbon steel and specialty alloys by using certified processes, i.e., FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW etc.
  • Capable of completing weldments with consideration of tolerances, shrinkage, warpage.
  • Thoroughly understands and can complete required documentation for welding and fabrication performed.

  • Must supply your own basic hand tools.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces with limited access and heights.
  • Ability to perform various assembly tasks.
  • Works with limited supervision.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

May at times give direction to Welder’s Helpers and Welders and monitors their work performance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent. 
  • 3-8 years of related experience in stainless steel fabrication, technical training or equivalent.

SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Able to anticipate complex fabrication problems such as shrinkage, warping, tolerance build-up, etc. and take corrective action prior to welding.

Must be able to pass all certifications set forth and be proficient for minimum of 1 month

SUMMARY:     Manages all aspects of small and medium sized complex technical projects comprised of design/build and build to print projects for a range of clients (e.g. DOE, DOD, NNSA, National Laboratory, Pharmaceutical companies, etc.) per the contracted scope of work consisting of codes, specifications and drawings. Develops, plans, directs, and coordinates project activities to ensure that goals and objectives of the projects are accomplished, delivering them on time, to the required quality standards and at or below budget.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Establishes detailed project plans for each phase of the project and identifies key resources required to support and execute the project

·        Identifies key metrics to include budget, schedule and quality and implements project control tools to evaluate project performance against these key metrics at various phases of the project (i.e. during design, manufacturing, close-out, etc.)

·        Communicates project plans to customers, project team members and department leads to ensure clear understanding of project scope and project metrics

·        Works with department leads to develop project staffing plans and ensure key personnel and resources are identified early in the project planning process and are available for project execution

·        Performs risk analysis and develops risk mitigation plans for complex projects including developing contingency plans and providing transparency for the project

·        Manages customer expectations and effectively communicates project status, dependencies, issues and risks to customers

·        Actively drives and manages projects and project teams to ensure we are delivering expected outcomes and meeting or exceeding key project metrics

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, however direction may be provided to project coordinators, QA and engineering personnel, and to shop personnel. Direction is provided in the spirit of organizing and prioritizing the tasks required to complete projects on time and within budget. 

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering or related discipline with at least 4 years experience leading projects/programs. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. Must have experience managing complex projects in excess of $1M. Prefer experience with Government programs/project and/or experience with nuclear or NQA-1 related programs/projects.

SUMMARY

As a Certified Level II Inspector, plans, secures procedures and materials, and implements testing on products for acceptance. This includes Leak testing using Mass Spectrometer or Residual Gas Analyzer in the tracer Probe mode; Leak testing using other media (e.g., gas or fluids), and other testing.
While waiting for parts to complete fabricated and become available for testing, the selected candidate must also be able to support other Quality Inspection activities. For example, FAT, Visual, PT, Receiving, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate novel concept designs or review customer-based designs to develop a preliminary Work Breakdown for the Engineering Effort attributed to proposal inputs and product development
  • Collect project-based Design Inputs, Design Interfaces, and Quality Program Requirements and combine them into an Engineering Design Plan including a milestone schedule
  • Initiate and author a Functional Requirements Document in the absence of a project-based user requirement

  • Experience applying fundamental mechanical engineering principles as applied to the construction of sheet metal and structural weldments, and integration of custom mechatronic equipment

  • Leadership experience providing clear direction to multiple stakeholders simultaneously and highly communicative

SUMMARY
This role supports manufacturing of engineered metal products through the maintenance and improvement of the documentation and records control portion of the NQA-1 Quality Management system. The incumbent leads and facilitates deployment of relevant schedule activities to ensure timely distribution of quality documents and records used in product realization. This position requires professional communications and collaboration with the Customers and internal ATG personnel for the receipt transmittal and control of documents.

• Drives achievement of Quality goals for Document Control and Records Management and reports on performance metrics to customers (internal and external as needed).
• Develops and drives improvements to reduce inefficiencies, raise productivity and effectiveness and optimize of Document Control and Records Management practices.
• Performs the updating and distribution of controlled documents and maintain accurate records of updates (documents, travelers, Procedures, Purchase Orders, CMTRs, COCs, and related items). EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• A High School Diploma or GED is required. An AS or BS is preferred, or College level courses or technical training in business/office discipline.
• A proficient knowledge of computers, databases, and office disciplines is required.
• A knowledge/background of Quality Systems (e.g., ISO9001) and systems audits is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years’ working experience in Document Control and Records Management functions.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Supervisory Role.
• Familiar with Document Control and Records Management software.

The Director of Program Management will oversee the PMO and all programs, projects and project management processes. You will support custom equipment engineering and complex fabrication projects delivered to the nuclear, pharmaceutical, and specialty equipment industries. In this highly collaborative and visible management team role, you have a direct impact on the P&L and will drive excellence, integration, and improvement of project management and execution methods in the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Oversee project and program contracts, scopes, budgets, teams and reporting to ensure project goals, timeframe, quality, and budgets are achieved.
  • Establish and drive a Project Management Excellence initiative throughout the organization. Through both value stream analyses and lessons learned, take the lead in identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices throughout the Value Stream, from quote to cash.
  • Lead and manage project managers to ensure implementation of PME best practices and scheduling/controls standards across all projects.
  • Hire, supervise, and mentor new project and program managers for projects. Organize and develop the project management group based on our markets, customer needs, and organizational requirements. Work seamlessly across departmental boundaries to drive understanding of project performance and impacts on P&L.
  • Determine skills needs. Assess and adjust staffing as needed to support projects ranging from $500K to over $10M. Projects are both design-build and build-to-print.
  • Communicate with and brief senior management regarding critical program outcomes. Drive standardization of management project updates that include level-appropriate information and a dashboard that enables broad understanding of project performance and impact on division performance.
  • Develop and manage a project controls function, that, in conjunction with accounting, provides cost and schedule performance targets as well as a method to track and proactively anticipate and address project financial performance (e.g. budget underruns and overruns).
  • Encourage, through example, collaboration to build and maintain relationship across the organization to facilitate successful project bidding, handoff, execution, transparency, and problem solving.
  • Communicate with customers as needed and step in when conflict resolution with customers or contract issues need to be escalated to the next level of management.
  • Participate in annual strategic planning, business development, and budgeting process.
  • Actively support and promote values of the organization.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will be responsible for project managers, project coordinators, and project controls personnel. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training, appraising performance, rewarding and motivating department employees. Conflict resolution, mentoring, and coaching as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in engineering, science, business or other technical discipline is required. Masters degree is preferred. Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, program management or PMO experience. Minimum of 10 years of management responsibility in custom fabrication or equipment building environment using EVMS project accounting methods, preferably while running a project management group. These experiences should be gained in areas of technical management or engineering and should include the ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings and diagrams. Experience implementing project controls. Experience with DOE or commercial pharma projects desirable.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Possess and maintain a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional
(PgMP) credential is preferred.

SUMMARY
Inspects products at various stages of the production process that are received, machined and/or fabricated. Capable of setting up and calibrating metrology and test instruments, performing dimensional inspection, surface finish inspection, and interpreting the results of the inspections against the requirements of applicable specifications or codes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates inspection equipment, such as Faro, and interprets results to code and specification requirements.
  • Responsible for coordinating inspection requirements, scheduling, and associated documentation and records.
  • Evaluates data and writes reports to document results to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
  • Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A proficient understanding of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Inspects materials received, work in process and finished products using conventional inspection instruments to ensure conformance with work orders, blueprints and engineering drawings.
