SUMMARY
A Level 2 position that is responsible to layout and fabricate complex metal products with little or no supervision. Familiar and proficient at welding in accordance with ASME Section IX welding procedures using carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
May at times give direction to Welder’s Helpers and Welders and monitors their work performance.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Able to anticipate complex fabrication problems such as shrinkage, warping, tolerance build-up, etc. and take corrective action prior to welding.
Must be able to pass all certifications set forth and be proficient for minimum of 1 month

Springs Fabrication is seeking a CNC Programmer to plan and program moderate to complex CNC jobs for our Machine Shop. This position requires flexibility in schedule and a willingness to work across multiple areas in the shop.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Two-year certificate from a college or technical school in the field of computer-aided design and drafting with the above defined related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One must fully understand the process of cutting and forming various metals using press brakes, rollers, plasma, laser, torches, machining heads, and punches. Programs written must efficiently make parts to print. Prior work history or knowledge of programming with Sigma Nest and Sigma Tube software is strongly desired. The ability to operate and/or manually program on any of the above mentioned machines would be beneficial.
SKILLS and ABILITIES:
The ability to generate, read, and interpret complex drawings. One must have the fundamental knowledge and skills associated with cutting and forming metal. General knowledge of fabrication processes and welding is desired. One must possess strong computer knowledge and be familiar with CNC programming software and standard desktop software. One must be able to create drawings using blueprints to program from, create programs using DXF/STEP/IGES files and solid models, and know how to select the proper cutting method and tools for the part and/or material to be cut.

SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for effective management of department personnel as well as establishing, maintaining, and ensuring the overall effective implementation of the company’s nuclear Quality Assurance Program and ASME Code Compliance QA Program for the “U” and “R” stamps. The QAM also oversees application of the Quality Assurance Program on a graded basis to projects that do not comply with NQA-1. This requires the ability to:
This position includes the review, understanding, and application of codes, standards, specifications, procedures, and other documentation that define quality requirements. The QAM should have strong familiarity and understanding of all elements of a nuclear quality assurance program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Establish, define, and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, systems, and programs to efficiently and effectively support quoting, design and manufacturing activities
· Participate in and contribute to developing annual strategic plans as well as develop action plans to accomplish initiatives
· Evaluate the effectiveness of existing quality procedures, systems, and programs, and make necessary modifications to eliminate waste and redundancies and to drive efficiencies
· Identify the need for corrective action and plan, execute, and/or ensure corrective actions and non-conformance are resolved effectively
· Evaluate contracts, bids, and proposals to ensure QA Program compliance
· Estimate, budget, and plan for quality activities by project
· Evaluate and monitor quality assurance capabilities of suppliers
· Review procurement documentation and establish quality flow-down requirements
· Ensure that all project quality documentation requirements are met in proactive manner
· Coordinate, conduct, and/or participate in internal, external, and customer audits
· Plan and accomplish Quality Department goals, including growth and development of personnel
· Manage capacity of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control groups versus demand, assuring adequate resources to support project load
· Plan, complete, and maintain personnel qualification/certification requirements
· Define and maintain company-wide personnel training requirements related to the QA Program, including conduct training sessions and administer examinations, as needed
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the Quality Department at the Westminster location in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws. Provides direction to Quality group including engineers, inspectors, and documentation control staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:

· 10+ years quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 3 years being in nuclear power, U. S. Department of Energy nuclear related activities, or nuclear materials manufacturing
· 3+ years with technical or complex programs in the areas of document control or configuration management

SUMMARY
Cut raw material using equipment to print requirements. Performs set-ups and operation of machinery such as saw, burn tables, 2D and 3D lasers, rolling machines and press brakes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Press brake set-up experience strongly preferred (tooling and programming)
SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to perform machine setup, read tooling lists, blueprints and manufacturing documentation. Ability to use standard measuring equipment to measure dimensions and tolerances.
